First be sure you have the latest software. Go to
http://www.hpcomm.org/beta.html
Note you must first download the earlier version to get the right libraries
 ("dll").
You might also consider joining the user group; info is on the page
mentioned.

To the hpcomm mailing list: Anyone out there fluent in Spanish? We seem to
have a number of calls from
users whose native language is Spanish and while they manage to get their
point across in English there
might be some advantage to Spanish once the conversation gets to specifics
(what level of OS, what level of
HP49 firmware, how to download...)

hi, Im own hp49g, i have been problems with the connectivity with pc and
hp, i conect the hp49 with wire and started the program hpcom, the hp49
displays procesing the command and nothing else, after many times the
massage is not connected.
you can helpme, and tellme wath about it.
scusme my native language is spanish
