Good morning.

My Freeciv client (1.14.1, gtk, Debian unstable) is acting a bit weird.
The diplomacy/players dialog lacks all its useful buttons ("Intelligence",
"Meet", etc) even when I have established embassies. This makes me unable
to actively interact with other civilizations.

This problem occurs only in the gtk client. The Xaw3D client also
availiable from my Debian mirror displays the mentioned buttons, but looks
like crap.

Does anyone know what causes this weirdness in my gtk client, and - more
importantly - how it can be fixed?

Sincerely,
Wilhelm Joys Andersen
Bergen, Norway
