But these days, viruses can make up addresses and pretend to
be someone else. Likely, someone using Outlook has the
address of the list in their address book (which just
requires them having received a mail from the list one...
who knows, maybe even just browsing a Web site with the
list's address on it may be enough), and the virus picked it
to e-mail itself somewhere else...

Incidently, this should be a lesson to all administrators:
when you find a virus, just delete it, there is no point
replying to it anymore, as it's very likely that all
addresses in the e-mail have no relation whatsoever to the
user that actually is infected.


We need a Wonder "Software Megacorp" which allows one to
wreck havoc on other players' science rate :-)
