I am trying to
compile freeciv on my SGI with Irix 6.5. I have all the
prerequesites. When I type " ./configure", everything checks out
except that I get an error message that says that the C compiler cannot create
executables. I've looked through the gcc documentation, but since I am not
that familiar with gcc, I can not seem to find anything to correct this
problem. What should I do?
