[Freeciv] AW: problems with native language support

this is what i did:
./configure
make
make install

i had some problems with the configure script. i had change it a bit,
because it hasn't found the file "gtk-config". so i typed in the absolute
path to the file and after this it worked. maybe i have changed too much?
or do i have to install a file ".freecivrc" in my home directory or export
an enviroment variable?
