| If you're on Windows, Freeciv must have a place to write its
| configuration file, .civclientrc. You supply this by using the DOS
| prompt to set the HOME variable to a valid
| directory, for example,

|   set home=C:\freeciv

to quote the latest addition to the FAQ.  Let me know if this is unclear.
