I put an old version of freeciv ( 1.8.1 ?) with a compiled civworld in a
file called freeciv-world.tgz. You can download it via
ftp.freeciv.org:/pub/freeciv/incoming/freeciv-world.tgz . Then, I
downloaded version 1.8.0, install it. After doing that, civworld
will accept running.
