I a two player game with the folloing options
Geological:
size 1 (1,29)
topology 15 (0,15)
generator 3 (1,3)
startpos 4 (0,4)
tinyisles *0 (0,1)
separatepoles *1 (0,1)
alltemperate *0 (0,1)
temperature *50 (0,100)
landmass 40 (15,85)
steepness *30 (0,100)
wetness *50 (0,100)
huts *50 (0,500)
Ecological:
specials *250 (0,1000)
Sociological:
startunits "ccckx"
dispersion 2 (0,10)
Economic:
gold *50 (0,5000)
Military:
Scientific:

maxplayers 3 (1,30)

AND
researchcost (10)
techlevel (6)
there was no visible research for all players.
