[Freeciv-Dev] (PR#11497) server freeze on 2.0 beta5[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index] [Thread Index]
<URL: http://bugs.freeciv.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=11497 > Hi, not much I can tell you. I was playing along (and doing v well by my standards :D ) and when I finished the turn nothing happened for ages, the server is now taking up about 90% CPU (i.e. as much as it can get). The original game was created using beta4, I loaded the -3950 savegame. I appended the newest savegame (saving each turn, I don't think it saved anything in the turn I done last) and the one I loaded. I was playing on my own against the AI allthough I believe someone tryed to join: Game saved as europe+1480.sav.gz > 2: Lost connection: c2 from cca2000.cca.unict.it (connection incomplete). > Game saved as europe+1490.sav.gz > 2: Lost connection: c3 from 74-180.241.81.adsl.skynet.be (connection incomplete). > Game saved as europe+1500.sav.gz > In the current turn I moved all the units that weren't still executing previous commands (irrigation etc.) and probably changed people-usage and production worklist in Muenchen, Riesa, Goerlitz, Bautzen and Stuttgart, probably one or two others as well but I don't think so. The client appears to be still running normally but I had to kill the server with strg+c (waited a long time tho) Not sure what else can help you so I'll just add some info about my system: Hardware: Athlon XP 2000+ 512 MB DDRRAM Matrox Millenium II PCI (my real card broke) Software: Gentoo Linux Kernel 2.6.9-gentoo-r9 (no modules) gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6) xfce 4.0.6 freeciv server&client 2.0 beta5 (but game created in beta4) Steffen ICQ 7806355 MSN steffenjf@xxxxxx
