OK I take it back.  Leave the players report open long enough and the 
client will lock up.

I assume this is related to

date: 2004/11/23 22:01:00;  author: vas;  state: Exp;  lines: +33 -35
PR#11067: Revamp player report update code.

Patch by me.

Should be reverted?  In the meantime don't use the players dialog!
