The minimum window height is about 625.
There are a few things that could be made smaller:
- Detaching the panel. This allows the window to be made smaller and is
basically a fix for the problem.
- The overview. This requires just a little change so it can be
dynamically resized. Of course it's still up to GTK to know that it
*should* be dynamically resized. The minimum overview size should be
1-pixel tiles.
- The unit info panel. This currently has 4 lines of text. It used to
have 3. We could maybe make an option for "short unit info" that limits
it to 2 lines.
- The chat/messages area. It could be allowed to make this smaller.
Actually you *can* make it smaller, by dragging the separator between
chat area and mapview down. But you can't make it smaller by dragging
the bottom area up.
As for 640x480 - forget it.
