The current GTK2 civclient core dumps at startup on Solaris. This is
built from CVS sources updated now (9/21/04 1:30EDT). Here's what I get:

---Type <return> to continue, or q <return> to quit---

This may be related to the UTF-8 and 646 on Solaris madness from PR #
10027. If I start civclient with the following, it does not core dump:

FREECIV_LOCAL_ENCODING=UTF-8 civclient &

However, I am 99% certain that starting the civclient (built from CVS
sources updated last week) without FREECIV_LOCAL_ENCODING set did not
core dump.
