I'd been playing a large map, 30 ai game for a long time.  I had autosave set to
every turn, but after awhile, the server would give the message:

Failed saving game as civgame+1800.sav.gz

Sometimes it would save ok for a few turns, but not save for one.. later it
failed every turn.  I suspect it was timing out.  When I changed the compress
from 6 (default) to 0, it didn't give the error.  If there is a timeout, maybe
it should be made longer.

I've uploaded a savegame (failed_save.sav.gz) to incoming.. join as kenn.

I was running it on an Athlon 750MHz, 256MB.
