Ok, remove 'possible' from subject.
CVS 24 MAY 2002
Only if the file to save already exists, it is possible, to save.
I verified this with different file systems, compression levels
( 0 and 6 ) and names, using auto-generated names and not.
Reproducible.
I put a savegame with the name khan3.sav.gz in incoming.
Just load the game, connect, start, and type "save".
civserver will avoid to save then.
Then go in a terminal and type:
touch khan+1410m.sav.gz
Back in civserver, type "save" again.
Should work now.
At least for me. If you still can't reproduce it, I can provide a compressed
corefile (700 KB).
Most curious bug I ever found ;-)
