Hehe, sorry about the late notice but I also get

error when trying to run the client.  I discovored it yesterday but 
fortunately I was working on server and had an older compiled client 
ready, so it didn't bother me as much as the non-compilation bug.

BTW, why should the program exit on this message?  Just disable sound and 
carry on.  I don't use sound, why should I suffer when the part that is of 
no use to me malfunctions?
