Regretfully, I now agree. I was just hoping that since more than 95%(maybe 99%)
use gcc, we could stop catering to the lowest possible denominator. And how far
back do you want to support old compilers? I think only recent compilers on
target platforms should be supported, unless you're talking about gcc.
