I've dropped an update in ftp.freeciv.org incoming to last week's
corecleanup patch that fixes a few bugs and is made against 1.12.0-beta-3
aka 1.11.10.

There is a second patch with equivalent city_map loop cleanups plus
assert-like traps for a large number of off map requests/accesses. It
should be considered a debugging version, though it passes my standard
civworld/civserver_autogame/civclient sanity tests.

These are for post 1.12.0 development, i.e. people that want to start
playing with macro optimizations for profiling, alternate maps and map
topologies, or help standardize and identify problems in the core code map
addressing.

Cheers,
RossW
