Hi, i've had some ideas, i've made a short list of them. greeting, Paul

1 )
idea:
more players together with the same country/team, as in starcraft.

desciption:
this becomes really handy with large empires. players/country's could merge as the thing next to alliance. conquered players can continue on the team of the conquerer (probably with less rights, to prevent sabotage, he could have some control over resistance-units too). players could be assigned tasks...as ministers are (I think every player should be able to contribute to battles though). really important aspects for the team must be controlled by the starting player/team leader (despotism/monarchy) or by voting of all players (republic/communism/democracy) or anyone (anarchy:). this way new players can always connect to a game even when running. games could take longer (entering a game half way is more funny with this). civil war would also be more fun :)

Realistic aspect:
in real live nation-leaders come and go...policy is often changed with a new leader...alliances sometimes broken...this makes the game more dynamic.

How to do it:
well, the game would need a lot more diplomacy added, for one.

2)
idea:
custom unit design. as in alpha centauri.

description:
nations can build different units...for which they first must do some research/prototype building (which should be very very expensive). the cost / production needed by a unit should be derived from its attack / defence / movement etc.

3)
idea:
migration. as seen in real live.

description:
this can be done (controllable) using settlers. but it would be fun if it happened as a natural thing too. it should occur between all city's (from every country) at a rate depending on distance and happy-ratio (and perhaps income).

how to do it:
well, perhaps it should only occur when the distance between city's is less
than a ....12 ?

4)
idea:
ai-scripts for players (perhaps researchable)

description:
well, some tasks are boring to perform and get more when you're empire expands...ai-scripts can make this game a lot more playable. player actions should overrule ai-actions.

5)
suggestion:
make bribing units/city's a lot more expensive. city's are just to darn cheap
