Though we haven't published this fact before, there does exist an rsync
server on the Freeciv web server, <www.freeciv.org>, which provides the
entire web site via a module named "web".

You should be able to copy it to a local directory by:

  rsync -a rsync://www.freeciv.org/web freeciv-web
           ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
           URL for "web" module        name of dir to create/update

Be warned: it's fairly big.  20+ Meg, I think.
