Hi,
freecivclient seems to have a severe memory leak running on a Win 98
platform.
I found this problem on two machines now (one AMD K6/2 333 MHZ, one
Pentium III 450 MHZ, both 128 MB ram). The game is running fine as long
as Windows has still got some diskspace to swap, but after some time
(depending on the size of the swapspace) the game crashes producing some
kind of general protection fault. After restarting the system, everything
is fine again.
Unfortunatily, I am not yet used to C or C++ programming (I prefer JAVA)
so I can not suggest any fix, but I hope that there will be one soon.
Keep working on this game, it's very good so far.
