Note the part "(cached)" in the above.  If you have changed
anything on your system, you should remove the config.cache
file in your freeciv directory and re-configure.  (We should 
probably add a note about this somewhere in the docs.)

So, if you remove config.cache and re-run configure,
does it work then?
