I also have questions about linux in general.  Like I want to ftp some 
*.ogg files from one linux box to my NetJuke server and it had some kind 
of error (I don't remember what).  Many times when people ask questions 
to the ACLUG group, the ACLUG members respond back RTFM.  It would help 
if they would say type "man ftp" in the console windows or some other 
response.  Many times new users are unable to find where additional 
information is before they write a question.  A new user can get lost 
and confused in a man page.  Most of the time when I want to find out 
something about linux, I just type a phrase into the google window and 
see what responses I get.  Sometimes the responses are overwhelming!

What I am mostly interested in is "lean and mean servers" for apache, 
mysql, & php.  I get into trouble sometimes when I get compile errors or 
when I shutdown services that I think I don't need and then I can't 
connect.  I also am wanting to find out about PostNuke so that I can 
update the ACLUG website more often.  Dale gets too busy to do that.  I 
would like to setup some Linux FAQ's for the ACLUG website and for 
thynking.net, my co-workers website.  I will check again for other linux 
faq websites.  I don't want to redo the work that others have done, but 
we could provide a link to their webpage.  I want to only have FAQ's 
that are not listed some place else.  ttyl ~Anne
