I can start attending meetings this semester as I do not have a Monday evening
class at this time.. Has anyone presented anything useful on QoS?
I recently setup a nice QoS routing setup that lets me play Quake3 with no lag
or lag spikes while xfering lots of inbound and outbound traffic (bittorrent
and such). I am no expert in QoS, but if anyone is interested I can explain
and
discuss how I have accomplished this. I am not much of a gamer, I did this
merely because I knew it could be done somehow, it is useful for any linux
user on a cable modem.
I have not presented to aclug before. I have not been known to attend alot. If
this is a fresh topic I would be happy to explore it.
