One alternative is to use netcat and dd, however it isn't convenient for lots
of machines....

Another way you could do this is to use g4u (ghost for unix), an opensource
(freebsd based) solution...

Another way I have done this with windoze is to boot to a tomsrtbt disk and
tar/bzip the whole thing, then to restore it on the new machine, just make a
vfat partiton/format it, untar the whole thing, reboot to win98 boot disk,
and run fdisk /mbr to restore the boot loader for windoze... Kindof a pain
tho...
