In a story running on Linux Today:
http://linuxtoday.com/news_story.php3?ltsn=2003-02-06-009-26-NW-HW-SW
They say that Sam's Club is now offering a $299 PC running Red Hat
"built by CPUBuilders, a division of Wichita, Kan.-based hardware maker
Stratitec specializing in budget PCs. The Sam's Club offerings, sold
only through the retailer's Web site, mirror similar moves by Wal-Mart,
which offers a number of low-cost Linux PCs through its Web site."
How interesting! Anyone have any first hand knowledge of this company.
I never heard of them before, even though I lived here a few years (was
in Wichita a few dys this week, heading back north tomorrow). But, then
there's lots of outfits I haven't heard of.
