For your information, or for the information of anyone else who cares, I
recently learned of a nice free Anti Virus package for Windows.
AVG AntiVirus made by Grisoft (http://www.grisoft.com/).  Commercial/pay
versions are available, too, but for home usage, the free version works
well, and is said to be as up to-to-date as the mainstream Norton or
McAfee databases.
