[aclug-L] Re: [announce] Aclug Re-organization

We had some discussion about that this evening, actually. We have many
members (myself included) who have networks where such things can be hosted.
I think the discussion was leaning toward colocating at WSU, possibly in
Kirk Lancaster's office. If iWichita was willing to colocate our server,
though, that may be preferable (more reliable network, etc).
Currently our server is colocated on some OC-3 type network in a ram-proof
building somewhere at John Goerzen's expense. The down side is that ACLUG
does not have root/shell access to the machine (for obvious reasons), so at
times some access is a bit limited.
The discussion is still open, so any offers from iWichita or other companies
willing to donate colocation space and bandwidth would probably be greatly
appreciated and would be seriously considered.
