Some may have already read this. The Register is reporting on a
researcher who has encoded the descrambling CSS code for DVDs in a prime
number. Not being any kind of a math whiz (I do well to get my
checkbook balanced each month), this is truly fascinating to me. I
suppose that nearly anything can be described as a prime number, given
enough of a willingness to do so. Here's the link:
