Well, hey.

I'm new around here and I don't have a clue about Linux, Zope, RPM,
Emulators or basically anything you folks are discussing.   :(

But, hey!

I'm really enthused about using open source stuff!  :)

I stumbled into #aclug when I was looking for debian-help over at
irc.openprojects.org  I discovered that your group has been doing for a long
time what our group is wanting to do here in our neck of the woods.

We are having our first workshop seminar THIS Saturday (June 30) at the
local Hotel/Convention center.  We will have debian, redhat, freebsd and
slackware running as well as windoze and a little jewell called qnx.

I have gotten quite a bit of inspiration from your website and I hope you
don't mind if we emulate some of your strategies.  We are most of us
LinuxNewbies and are as lost as geese.  (but we manage to stay in formation
pretty well)   ;)

The name of the gang here in western KY, southern IL, southeast MO, and
northwest TN is the OzoneFarm.  We reside at http://ozonefarm.org and we're
hoping to establish a working relationship with you folks.  Hopefully it can
progress from parasite/host to a symbiotic form in only a short time.  But
like I said we are all pretty much newbies.

There are very few Linux gurus around these parts that we've come into
contact with.  Hopefully this workshop will help bring some in.  There are
about 15 of us in this group so far, but we're only about a month old.
