I think the point of the Boeing Surplus post was that you could get
used barebones SYSTEMS for very cheap.
I don't think anyone would argue that there are other better places for new
"quality" hardware.
Personally, I've not been impressed with McGlen Micro's prices... and they
charge a lot for shipping. But... I have bought a few things from them.

Floppy disk tip #4: Never insert a diskette into the drive upside down. The
data can fall off the surface of the disk and jam the intricate mechanics of
the drive.
