[aclug-L] Help in designing a MUD

Hello all this is Smeghead AKA the trouble maker.  I am making a
Mult-user dimension based on the SMAUG codbase, and was wondering what
resources I need, to host, keep out of the reach of hackers, and other
things in hosting a MUD.  The MUD will be called UNIT Alone and it is
based on DrWho, the longest running SciFi series of all time.  I am
running Red Hat 6.2 and I hear that is what's a good environment for
running a MUD.
