for a way of determining who gets your latest book, how
about everybody brings a quarter, everybody can flip for it,
tails gets eliminated, somebody eventually wins. shouldn't take
more than five minutes to determine -- if we want to get fancy,
the losers, the tails, would forfeit their quarters in the process --

other ideas for fair enough?
