I am looking to protect my company's computers, running Windows, from
viruses. McAfee and Data Fellows offer network suites for around $70 a
seat. That seems pricy and the boss is reluctant to spend $500-$800 for 6
to 10 seats. He and I wonder why we can't go to CompUSA and buy six copies
of McAfee for $15 a piece. Wouldn't that be just as good? I think the
network suites offer better upgrading capabilities, e.g. unattended and
daily. Since it is a small office I could go around and upgrade the
computers myself weekly. Would it be wrong to get a few copies of the $15
package? Is it any different?
