[aclug-L] timezone and time wrong in netscape's email[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index] [Thread Index]
my timezone and time are incorrect in netscape's email's "Date" field. See above, I sent this about 2:10 PM CST, my guess is that netscape read my system clock (set for UTC) and has subtracted nothing.... my /etc/sysconfig/clock reads: "UTC=true" (quotes are mine...) my /etc/localtime is linked to the correct CST6DST, so the '/bin/date' give the correct time with 'CST' appended.... I think that there is another parameter that needs to be set... and I can't find it. please help. thanks, mike wagle, wichita, ks
