Repost of message of a few weeks ago, maybe somebody has read of an anwser
in another newsgroup?

I had tried to install three other releases of LINUX onto my computer that
uses a PC/CHIPS integrated motherboard <Built-In Video/Sound/Lan/WinModem>
and neither of them could find the devices installed to allow for full use
of the hardware. ( I know that currently that Linux does not support
software based 'WinModems'.)

But when I installed WinLinux 2000 on this same system it not only
configured the hardware, <Video at 800X600, SoundCard, Lan Card {3 out of 4
is better than 1 out of 4}>, and it installed with out the need to partition
of the harddrive.

I have now tried to install 'StarOffice 5.1' from the SUN CD-ROM onto this
same system and get the following error:
'Gallery could not be installed'

Then I do not get access to any of the functions of 'StarOffice' suite of
utilities.

I had installed from this CD-ROM onto two other Linux Packages (which I have
since formatted over due to hardware limits) & under Win'98.

Any ideas on what I need to do, to correct this error?
