I'm sure this modem will work for data/FAX in Linux.  I don't know about
voice.

I do know this modem really sucks, too.

We have nothing but problems with ModemBlasters at SouthWind/Feist.  I
STRONGLY recommend NOT buying this modem for ANY operating system.
