I have tried and tried to get SAMBA to set up on my system... either I am
reading too much into the setup manual and entering data that is not needed
or I am not putting in the correct data in the right line..

You don't know of a web site that has screen shots of 'BOTH' how the same
data would look on a Win'98 Peer-To-Peer network and a 'LINUX' box connected
to the same network?
