Hi,

Generally the CPU is not any problem.  The video might be; take a look 
at xfree86.org.  If it's not supported, wait a few days; the release
of 3.3.4 is imminent.  Other than video, you should be fine.  Be
selfish and keep the PIII for yourself :-)
