[aclug-L] Afterstep problems

I just upgraded from Afterstep 1.4.x-x (don't remember exactly) to
1.6.10-1 on my RH 5.2 box. I downloaded and installed this latest package
from the afterstep.org website where it was available in RPM format.
Everything was fine before the upgrade. But, now I just see a flash and
get back the login screen if I try to log in with afterstep as the default
window manager. I did fix the problem immediately by changing to a
different window manager. But, I was wondering what went wrong with the
upgrade. I didn't see any error messages or anything unusual with the
upgrade. It just quit working on me.

Any ideas???
