[aclug-L] Login display

Hi,

I'm using a RH 5.1 machine. But when ever I login, I need to type startx
in order to start up the X server. I wanted to know which file(s) do I
need to modify in order to see the "pretty" login screen. 

I guess that I might need to mess with the xdm-config file. But I'm really
not sure what needs to be changed.

I would really appreciate any help.
