As far as I know, the stock Windows 95 original version has
trouble with drives over 8.4G. You need Windows 95 OSR2 to make it work.
I just put a 12G EIDE hard drive on a friend's Win95 machine. Win95
didn't see more than 8.4G. Linux saw it all.
