attached is what ifconfig tells me when running the new kernel and
having no inet access...  and ideas?

BTW...i re-installed linux yesterday, 'cause i REALLY messed it
up...couldn't login at all...  no biggie, tho'...working better than
before now...cleaned up some earlier crap...
