Hi Jack,
If you download a file with Lynx, you generally need to use "d" to
save it. The file is something like "communicator-4.06...". You can
copy it to /tmp using:
cp communicator-* /tmp
Then you must run the Debian installer program. If you are using CDs,
this is on the second CD and is called netscape4. Or, you can
download it from:
ftp://ftp.debian.org/dists/stable/contrib/binary-i386/web
Once you have the file, type:
dpkg -i netscape4_*
to install.
