[aclug-L] modem

I have trouble to get my modem work anymore.  My modem was worked fine
before, it was just last several days ago, I cannot get it up.  the 
command I used was the same "pppd /dev/modem 115200" on RedHat system.  I
don't hear the noise from the modem.  All my files in the /etc/ppp were
still the same (the I get the files from the SouthWind provider.)  I
thought something wrong with the hardware itself, but when I switch to
Win95, it works fine.
Can you help me?
