[aclug-L] Mouse question

This is probably a stupid question...

In the past I had trouble getting a serial mouse to work if there was an
active PS/2 mouse port on the system.  My friend wants this nifty colored
mouse and it only comes with a serial interface.  Can this be made to work
(using Xfree86 3.3.3.1)?

(It probably has to work with W98 too, but it's not my fault...)
