Aclug Meeting: Monday, June 18: DNS - Domain Name Service 
---------------------------------------------------------

This meeting will overview the process of setting up DNS to work on your
local machine.  DNS converts machine names to IP adresses and from
adresses to names, and some other things. This allows us to access
machines using  easy to remember names (like www.aclug.org) rather than
the actual IP address.  

Jonathan Hall will present this discussion. 


NOTE: During the WSU Summer Session we will be meeting on the 3rd Floor of
Jabara Hall. There will be signs posted directing you to our new meeting
location. 


Aclug Meeting: Monday, July 2: Linux Video Conferencing

This meeting will cover the steps needed to make Video Conferencing work
under Linux.  We will discuss the hardware that is supported and cover the
required software and it's configuration. 

Jonathan Hall will present this discussion.


NOTE: During the WSU Summer Session we will be meeting on the 3rd Floor of

MEETING SCHEDULE:

Meetings are typically held every other Monday at 7:00/7:30pm in 260
Jabara Hall on the campus of Wichita State University.  A sign will be
posted outside Room 260 in the event that we need to meet elsewhere.

7:00PM to 7:30PM is reserved for open discussion. 7:30PM to 7:45PM we will
cover old and new business, and make announcements of upcoming ACLUG
events. 

Our regular presentation will begin after the announcements, at
approximately 7:45. Of course, if you can make it at 7, you're encouraged
to stay for the whole program.  You are welcome to arrive at either 7 or
7:30.
