Subject: OfflineIMAP chokes on moving a message between folders with GMail and Maildir
From: "Federico Lorenzi" <florenzi@xxxxxxxxx>
Date: Mon, 19 Nov 2007 15:39:49 +0000

Hi there,

I have OfflineIMAP set up in the following way:
[federico@MAILjail] /home/federico/Maildir> cat ../.offlineimaprc | grep -v "^#"
[general]
metadata = ~/.offlineimap
accounts = GMail
maxsyncaccounts = 1
ui = TTY.TTYUI, Noninteractive.Basic, Noninteractive.Quiet
ignore-readonly = no

[mbnames]
enabled = no
filename = ~/Mutt/muttrc.mailboxes
header = "mailboxes "
peritem = "+%(accountname)s/%(foldername)s"
sep = " "
footer = "\n"

[Account GMail]

localrepository = Local
remoterepository = Remote
autorefresh = 1

[Repository Local]
type = Maildir
localfolders = ~/Maildir
sep = .

[Repository Remote]
type = IMAP
remotehost = imap.gmail.com
ssl = yes
remoteport = 993
remoteuser = florenzi@xxxxxxxxx
remotepass = xxxxxxxxx
maxconnections = 1
holdconnectionopen = yes
keepalive = 60
nametrans = lambda transname: transmenow(transname)
folderfilter = lambda foldername: foldername not in ['[Gmail]/All
Mail', '[Gmail]/Trash', '[Gmail]/Spam']

The nametrans is something custom I hacked up, but I've tried with out
it, and it
makes no difference.

Now, syncing email works perfectly, until you decide to move a message. If you,
in my case, move a message from Inbox to Sent Mail I get the following:
