There aren't many any more. Most of those (that were any fun) were made for
DOS. I would suggest setting up a second machine running DOS and some free
BBS software running under OS/2 Warp 3 (which you can get for $1.99 at
Trailing edge) simply for games. Do all your e-mail, message boards, etc,
in Linux, but then your door games from DOS.
A low-end Pentium would be fine for the DOS machine.. possibly even a 486 if
you don't have many users. You'll want enough RAM--probably 24 or 32mb
minimum to begin with. As cheap as computer hardware that old is, it
shouldn't be hard to do.
